Jesus og Hopp lager party i kirken! 🇳🇴 🇬🇧

Jesus and Ski-Jumping Party at the Church

Today there was a sports church service at Heggen Church. There was a full house. Nice music was played and international guests were present. The organizational committee for Raw Air also participated. There was a party factor at the church.

During today’s sport church service, the previous world champion, Ole Gunnar Fidjestøl, from Vikersund read from the bible. Geir Holberg preached about hospitality, where he compared Jesus and Raw Air. This was today’s topic.

The music was fantastic. When they were about to play, Holberg ascertained that “let the party begin.” We were able to get a word with two of the musicians, one of which was Ike Sturm, from New York. He is a bassist. Sturm is connected to this place because he has good friends in the congregation in Modum. The relationship to ski-flying isn’t as great as to the congregation, but he is looking forward to the jumping later today.

The other musician is Frøydis, who plays saxophone and flute. She thinks it is real fun to play for the congregation. She doesn’t have much of a relationship to ski-flying, but she is looking forward to a tour of the hill. “I’m afraid that we have to walk up the stairs at the hill,” she said laughingly. Holberg can calm her and deny this.
